ushijima wakatoshi didn't believe he had an eating disorder. at least he wished he could be in denial about it. the way he recoiled at the idea of eating was definitely indicative of one. his rationalisation was that because he hadn't lost any weight he needn't worry about the psychological effects his "disorder" had. as long as he combated the physical manifestations of the problem he would be fine.
