“I am right here, you know,” Viktor said bitterly, not taking kindly to how they spoke of him like he was Jayce’s pet. He doesn’t understand what they mean that Jayce has “claimed” him, but he isn’t appreciating the way they’re meaning it.
“The people of Zaun aren’t of immediate danger to us anyway,” Mel spoke now, and though Viktor has never really gotten along with her, he’s grateful for her usage of the proper title of Zaun. “And you should all place respect on Viktor’s name, despite his part of House Talis regardless.”
“Thank you,” Viktor said, not quite understanding again what this talk of being a Talis, but he chooses to focus on Mel openly defending him. “And as Jayce previously mentioned, Hextech is not to be weaponised.”

Jayce is possessive of Viktor and covers the man in the Talis House colors.
Viktor doesn't realise though for seven years what Jayce is doing, but everyone else does.

Heimerdinger suddenly stops strumming. The final note ends on an off-key chord Ekko can't help but wince at. Furry brows knitting together, the professor tilts his head, apparently confused by the question. "For my old glasses?"
"For Jayce. Or Viktor," Ekko clarifies, though he's pretty sure Heimerdinger knew what he was getting at. "Even if our Jayce did end up somewhere else, one should still exist here. In this timeline, what happened after the explosion?"
Heimerdinger frowns, mustache wriggling in displeasure.
"Ah, yes, the incident. Well, you see—"
Or, Heimerdinger doesn't want to disrupt the peace Jayce and Viktor have built for themselves in the alternate timeline, and Ekko learns Powder has something to do with that.

Under normal circumstances, Jinx would help him unfasten the laces holding the corset together. Viktor knows what awaits there on his skin by now, under his silky dress shirt, imprinted into his skin. Jinx would tell him he is ridiculous for not taking proper care of himself and he would tell her she doesn’t need to help him, then.
But Jinx is not here. There is only his own discomfort and Jayce’s beguiling willingness to help.
“So? What are you waiting for?”

Zaunite Viktor is forced to attend a gala in Piltover where Jayce is giving his address to people. They meet, they dance, they fuck about it.
