Summary
“A time-turner? Aren’t these heavily regulated by the Ministry?” The entire stock of Time-Turners lining the shelves in the Time Room were currently caught in an endless loop of tumbling, reversing back to their original positions & falling again. As far as he knew, there hadn’t been any further production of them & it was also highly illegal to keep one past the allotted period. Hermione had once revealed to him that a fair number of Unspeakables involved in the study of time magic were still rather peeved over this.
“Yes,” the witch replied. There was a biting note to her soft, silky voice, as if she thought that Harry was rather stupid for asking such an obvious question. “And yet, here we are.”
Caught in the backlash of a cursed Time-Turner, Harry Potter is sent back into the turmoil of the 1940s. Struggling with a lack of information & the chilling realization that his mortal enemy is still just a teenage boy, Harry finds himself forced to attend Hogwarts where he attempts to keep his head down - but this becomes impossible when he's sorted into Slytherin, putting him directly into Tom Riddle's sights.

Bofur had to make two rounds of the tent before everything was finally, finally settled to Bella's satisfaction, and she sulked and grumbled yet as he sank down into a chair, exhausted.
"Why are we doing this again?" Bella complained, not for the first time. She had discovered that Bofur had forgotten all of her favourite handkerchiefs two hours into the expedition setting out of Erebor, and had been in a foul mood ever since.
“The King called a muster-“
“No,” Bella interrupted, with a scowl, “Why are we involved?”
"Because," Bofur began, then he hesitated, playing along with Bella’s mood, tugging at his beard, and conceding, "Y'know, I've quite forgotten."

It's still early enough into the evening that Bofur surely does not truly need to light the tapers as yet, but he's engaged in something delicate, it seems, his thick fingers busy on a knob of wood and his paring knife - he doesn't even look up when Bilbo circles the table to have a look.
