    Takoba Municipal Beach Park was a place that Midoriya Izuku often found as either relaxing and peaceful, or complicated and depressing. Izuku had spent 10 long months of his life nearly breaking his body to clean the once trash covered beach. He was proud of his hard work, and the progress he had made with his training because of it.

    However there were times when Izuku would find his way back to the beach, only to find someone had started dumping their trash once again, and it caused him no small amount of grief. He had tried to petition the local city officials in an effort to keep the beach clean, but never had much luck with it even after he started attending UA.

    How could he have expected the beach where his life had finally started to go right, to be the place where his life would suddenly go very, very wrong?

    four years ago, Izuku Midoriya received the awe-inspiring power of One for All from the Number one Pro Hero and infallible Symbol of Peace, All Might.

    Mere months after that, young Midoriya undertook the entrance exams to get into UA High, the most prestigious Hero Academy in Japan, if not the world. To his utter depair, he was ultimately rejected, due to the instability of One for All.

    Three years ago, All Might was murdered, killed by the very disciple of evil, Tomura Shigaraki. The incident plunged Midoriya, already disheartened from his rejection from UA, into an even deeper depression.

    Now, at the age of eighteen, Izuku's life has spiralled into complete nothingness. Jobless, without motivation and a complete mess of a human being, one fateful day leads Izuku to a new chance, a chance to rectify his life. The Meta Liberation Army, overflowing with those just like him. This is where he may find his solace, his second chance.

     

    And find true liberation while he's at it.

    Yagi Toshinori watched the green haired boy walk away after saving his friend and shook his head. While the boy's actions were heroic, he was just too reckless. He walked in the opposite direction, thinking about a time he could meet the candidate Sir Nighteye put forward.

    Izuku Midoriya goes home and decides that, even if he can't be hero himself, he can still help them with his analysis. Cue Izuku catching the attention of multiple heroes who are a little more open-minded and willing to see the potential in a quirkless kid.

    Midoriya Izuku goes missing as a child. No villain is ever held accountable, no one ever brings his mother any answers. For ten years, the only people who remember the quiet, Quirkless boy are Inko and Bakugo Katsuki. They both feel his loss in different, inexplicable ways.

    Eraserhead's been on the hunt for an elusive villain only known by the press as 'Ghost'. No fingerprints, blood, or evidence of any kind can ever be found at the scene of the crimes. All of the villain's cases inevitably run cold.

    Izuku wishes he'd been born Quirkless after all. Maybe then, he could've believed in heroes. Maybe then, he could've turned into someone good.
