Summary
Demi-Gods have never been common, especially in schools with most of them being expelled too often to stay in one place, or staying in Camp Half Blood's safety to finish their education. Even then, it was an ancient rule that no more than 3 Demi-Gods should be in one place, especially after all the Wars. Yet, when there were Demigods in the same school, they liked to stay together and protect each other against monsters and mortals alike. This leads us to the members of Volleyball clubs in Japan, where 13 of the many across the country smell like a 4-course meal to Monsters. Especially when 7 of them were part of a prophecy and all of them had helped save Olympus...

13 Haikyuu characters are Demi-Gods trying to balance out school, survival, and volleyball while not being able to tell anyone about who they are. Not to mention none of them are actually hiding it and the author thought it was a good idea to let Nishinoya be able to set himself on fire.
