Summary
This is a modern au where Yennefer and Geralt live in the same apartment building, but have not met - Yen’s cat helps with an introduction.
A few months pass and Geralt is left as guardian to a three-year-old Ciri, chaos ensues as they try to work out how to raise her together. Idk, it's adorable and very found family heavy.
I would say its more based on the show than the games/books. Though I have read/played all of them, the show was my main inspiration to write.
Based on a prompt from @romkole on tumblr that I ran with.

It's not the kind of power she deserves, not even close, but it's what she has. And it's something, at least, something she can use, something to hold clenched in her fist. "Lukas," she says, pitches her voice low, husky. "I am not gonna fuck you."

Summary
Rhaenyra Targaryen has been disinherited - some will say she should have seen it coming, some will say that it is just the natural order of things restored. Yet it is insulting to be put aside in favour of an infant - and Rhaenyra does not intend to let it slide.
If she cannot have her crown, she will ensure Otto Hightower's grandchild cannot either - she would rather see a usurper conquer Westeros than forget this slight. The plan is simple: help him take the capital and bargain for her freedom, without the pressure to marry or produce heirs for some arrogant lord.
But what if her gamble takes an unexpected turn, and she still finds herself with a crown on her head - a consort, but a Queen nonetheless? And has she won or has she lost - can traitors ever win?
