When Izuku was four, he climbed up the railing of the biggest nesting box, the one at the corner of the barn, right next to Mr. Toshi, to watch.
“He’s coming early,” Mr. Toshi said, just as soon as he'd pulled himself up and peered in. “It means he’ll be a fast one, too impatient to wait around too long. He’s ready to get a move on.”
Izuku nodded, eyes fixed on the large egg the beautiful she dragon was curled around.
“She’s my best dam, and Masaru is a strong sire, he’ll be a beaut.”

Katsuki remembered the first time he heard the voice in his head. Only at the time no one thought that it could possibly be a quirk, no he was deemed quirkless and schizophrenic by doctor after doctor and his Father had no proof they were wrong. But Katsuki swore up and down that the smoke in the mirror and the voice in his head wasn't dangerous...everyone else seemed to disagree.
