Summary
Buck is having a hard time dealing with Eddie's impending move to El Paso and resorts to some Buck 1.0-style coping mechanisms. Unfortunately for everybody, this backfires in spectacular fashion.
Especially for Eddie, who waited until now to realize he was in love with his best friend.
---
Eddie is leaving. Buck is spiraling.
And unbeknownst to either, a serial killer is waiting in the wings.

“You are…pregnant, Mr. Buckley.” The doctor explains slowly, each word said with precision as he observes both their—mainly Buck’s—faces.
Pregnant?!
I can’t be pregnant.
Can I?

When Tommy walks out of his apartment that night, Buck thought that was it, the end of his first relationship with a man—one who he may already have been falling for. Only nothing is ever that simple. Especially for Evan Buckley, it’s usually the opposite.
Life is full of surprises, new and old; a baby is just one of them.

"You know my boyf—mm, no, my ex b’yfrienddd," Buck slurred, pointing vaguely at the man sitting beside him. The guy—some guy named Jake, or maybe Jade... something like that—just nodded like this was the most riveting conversation of his life.
"Mmm yes, he is my ex now. Anyway, he was great! No, no, wait, he’s my ex, he’s awful, you see."Bookmarked by Goafer

Summary
“Just look at me,” Tommy tells him as he wraps his other hand around Evan’s right. Evan squeezes tightly, and when the door moves, even though the glass is mostly settled, he still cries out.
“Okay,” Tommy says, nodding at him. “Okay. It’s okay.”
Once the door is gone, the EMTs from the 122 are moving quickly, shoving a portable stretcher beneath Evan and then sealing his head to the board.
“Moving on three,” one of them states.
“Don’t go,” Evan rasps at Tommy.
“I’m coming with,” he confirms, holding Evan’s gaze.
..
OR: We crash that jeep, and Tommy has to be on scene. Confessions ensue.
