Summary
Survive.
That was Astarion's only focus in Cazador's mansion of horrors. Be the monster mothers warned their children about, drape himself in shadows and whisper all the right things to lure the desperate and forgotten back to his master. Manipulate, lie, seduce, and see another moonrise.
One illithid abduction later, and he's walking in the sun with a sorceress and her band of infected misfits, away from Baldur's Gate and two centuries of pain. It was the rarest of opportunities, and he fully intended to use his skills to wrap Tav around his finger to protect himself. To survive while the world came apart at the tadpole-infected seams.
It was in the calm moments, the quiet of the camp, that Astarion began to grasp what exactly it meant when someone unselfishly cared for him. Tav didn't just want him to touch her and tell her sweet things. She wanted him to be free, be whole, be healed- and she would shed blood and magic to those ends.
It feels like hopeful dream- until their centuries of life before one another collide with their present, stringing along a cast of monsters, devils, and traitors who would turn it all into a nightmare.

Summary
"Ambrose. Ironic, but a fitting name for a man who's survived this long against the Army."
He looked over his shoulder to see a pair of glacial blue eyes he didn't recognize. One of the Evereskans, no doubt. She was all alabaster skin and tight curves under a tantalizingly low-cut black and gold gown. Hair like spun starlight was pulled into a graceful half-up style. A tattoo of the holy symbol of the Moonbow on her chest peeked partially over the edge of her dress, where the tight fit threatened to spill her bosom.
"Technically, it's Lord Commander Ancunin," he replied, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, I was hoping we could simply chat and briefly pretend Cormanthyr wasn't being swallowed by darkness, but if you insist on standing on ceremony..." She held out her hand. "Lady Mynodora Lightwish, Chosen of Lady Moonbow, Gem of Evereska, Head Cleric of the Evereskan Seldarines. At your service, my lord."
Ah. He could feel his departure being delayed already. He stood, taking her hand and brushing his lips against it. "Lady Lightwish. What did you wish to discuss?"
"Anything, really, darling. But if we end up in bed, you'll call me Myn, there's no two ways about it."

Summary
His head tilts down, his lips barely brushing the shell of her ear. “You know, if half the men in our court knew even a fraction of what you do, they would run the other way.”
“They would run hoping you wouldn’t catch them. We are not the same, my lord.”

Summary
When Josephine suggested they throw an Orlesian masked ball, Cullen never once thought he might attend, much less find...and lose...and rediscover...the love of his life.
Of course, with Dorian, Varric and Sera playing meddling Fairy Godmother, he probably should have seen it all coming.
OR: Cullen's POV to As the World Falls Down.
