“You’re not even paying attention right now,” he growls.
“Look, Eddie,” Evan tries, lifting his hands up in surrender. Eddie’s eyes trail from his eyes down to his lips, his chest, and then back up at him, and Evan doesn’t like the way it feels. Something about the entire moment feels uncomfortable to him.
Eddie sets the bowl on the counter and puts his hands on Evan’s ribs, pushing him back towards the fridge.
“Eddie, man, what’re you doing,” Evan stammers nervously.
OR: Two hours before a date night with Tommy, Eddie turns up at the loft. A fight ensues, and Evan is violently sexually assaulted, left for Tommy to find.
Together, they have to face the aftermath and healing process.

Tommy reached into the little wooden chest offered to him and pulled out a tiny pink folded post-it from the sea of similarly folded post-its.
A finger was pointed to his nose. “We’re capping it at $50. No swapping. No telling anyone who you got. No gift cards. Since we’re on shift over Christmas we’ll swap presents then and it better be wrapped or in a gift bag.”
Tommy pushed Hen’s finger away. “I know how Secret Santa works, Hen.”

Summary
When Bucks apartment building gets sold and the rent gets raised to high, Chimney suggests he stay with an old 118 buddy, Tommy, who was renting out his spare bedroom to make some extra cash.
He’s immediately taken by how nice Tommy is, and Tommy is absolutely taken by how sunny and thoughtful Evan is.
In the short space of 100 days, both of their lives change.
