“I suppose I should thank you for the save,” Aventurine hummed, languidly leaning back against the crates, “But that’s the how and not the why.”
A cold, creeping sense of anxiety crawled up Ratio’s stomach, “Speak plainly, gambler.”
Aventurine scoffed, “I’m not dumb, Ratio. Obviously, you’re the one who fixed me. I just don’t get why you bothered to.”
“What are you on about? Why wouldn’t I help you?”
“Because I’m an android, duh,” Aventurine laughed, “Enemy of humanity? The very thing you’ve been running from for who knows how long now? You should be happy to have one less of us. Instead, you fixed me up? To think you’re supposed to be the logical one between us.”
Following the events of Rota Fortunae, Ratio and Aventurine have some things to discuss.

“I… would let someone… who I trusted try to… revert that, you know? To get used to… a softer touch.” Aventurine spoke hesitantly, and Ratio just hummed again. The blonde laughed breathily, pulling away from their embrace. “I’m asking for you to do that… if you wanted to,” Ratio’s eyes opened wide, finally putting the clues together.
“Doc, you don’t have to, it was just a suggestion if you were up to it. No hard feelings.” Aventurine assured, but Ratio’s hand gently cupped his cheek, stopping him in his thoughts. “I would like to be the one to teach you what it’s like to be cherished and taken care of. I want to show you what it’s like to not be afraid and to accept someone’s help and affection.”
