Down on his luck and desperate for energon, Starscream finds a cave system where an old Cybertronian ship crashed millions of years ago containing memories and a mech Starscream longed to forget.
A complete rewrite of the original Darker Shades, because I wasn't proud of it.

Summary
A few months after the disastrous gamma bomb incident Bruce spends his time hiding from society in the thick forests of Canada. Tired and alone Bruce only wants to rest, but his rest is ruined when a ball of green flame crashes in the near by forest. What Bruce believed was just a meteor turned out to be a man looking as though he had survived hell and came back to tell the tale.
Bruce is more of his 1996 cartoon self since that is my favourite portrayal of the character while Loki is still his MCU self.

Summary
Starscream watches with envious optics as Megatron treats the Maltos with kindness he never showed him.
In my headcanon Starscream viewed Megatron as a father figure even though he would never admit it and has very complicated feelings seeing Megs treat the Maltos with the respect and care he wished he could've gotten from Megatron.
Title is inspired by the lyrics in "For The Love Of A Daughter" by Demi Lovato
