    The pacing is fairly slow, so it"s very hard to say where Esama intends to take the plot - but I really enjoy the part that"s already there and have read it multiple times. Time traveling older Noctis is a very skilled fighter with great insights due to experience and future knowledge yet at the same time constantly overwhelmed by mundane things like "Argh, I need a bank account" and "Doing research is hard!". Poor Regis is constantly overworked. Young Nocits is cute and innocent. Everyone else is various levels of suspicious of time traveling Noctis and trying to figure out what his deal is. I always love well written outside POVs of time travelers.

    Harry discovers, through a series of letters from his parents, that in fact they"re not his parents at all. That he isn"t Harry Potter. That, during the war, James and Lily Potter were assigned to kill the infant daughter of Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange, and kidnapped her instead. It is unquestionably a relief as Carina Gaunt steps back into the body she was always meant to have. But it also puts her on even more of a high-wire act than her life already was: hiding her secret, finding her godfather/cousin before the dementors do, and making sure that she doesn"t get killed – by her father, or by Albus Dumbledore.

    Dark Harry and Harry with different parentage, even with this specific parentage are dime a dozen. What I like about this specific fic is that all of the elements - even some I usually don"t like all that well - are executed very well. Despite some drastic changes from canon it still feels plausible. And I enjoy the queer world building for the Wizarding World that gets hinted at.
