Hold this for a moment, won’t you?” He held out whatever he’d been fiddling with in his closed hand. Gimli took it automatically. It took him a moment to process what was happening. Legolas was prancing along at his side, gazing after Aragorn, barely suppressing a grin, and now he almost was skipping.
Gimli had once again lost the ability to breathe and this time it had nothing to do with running. “Legolas, this is your hand.”
