Summary
The strength of his conviction, the faint streetlight from the road reflecting off of Will’s curls in the dark room. All of Hannibal’s hard work gaslighting him going down the drain as Will gained clarity from the crime scene, as puzzle pieces locked into place.
And Will’s arms raised slowly, the gun in hand, the barrel absolutely magnetized to Hannibal. Will’s posture was perfect at that moment. And he was so beautiful in his certainty. This situation was out of Hannibal’s hands now and something cold had begun dripping in his stomach.
Story takes place after Will escapes prison, still in the heat of encephalitis, and kidnaps Hannibal to the Hobbes house.
