Summary
All men have been taken by giant, furry women with serious jealousy issues. Human women were given two choices: resist and die or accept defeat and be allowed to remain in society with no claim to human males. After the choice was made, they faced another: become lesbians or spend the rest of their lives single, pining after the males they hadn’t been strong enough to fight for.
The women decided, and they have spent the five years that have passed since the Anthrostate was declared the one-world government trying to circumvent the system. Some engaged in secret affairs with Assigned men; others with more dubious ethics began experiments to create Anthro males; still others resigned themselves to living with AI hologram boyfriends.
Then a woman named Emma Slayer found another male, one who had the potential to bring a new world of romantic satisfaction to lonely women everywhere. For that to become reality, Emma must take a great risk. She has been keeping her boyfriend a secret; now, if she wishes to bring relief to her chromosomal peers and settle the feminine rivalry, she must expose him to the world and face the consequences of a male-obsessed Anthrostate knowing that her boyfriend is a talking plushie.

Summary

As their fumbling relationship deepens a sudden and tragic event uproots the both of them, and they're quickly forced to deal with the consequences as well as battle their own personal demons.
A story set in a matriarchal world. Very plot-heavy with copious amounts of worldbulding and lore, and an emphasis on recovering from trauma and mental illness. If you want a smut filled story you'll have to look elsewhere.
