He says nothing, just looks over the rim of his cup and continues to slurp obnoxiously loud.
Callum sighs heavily against the rim of his own to-go cup, disappointment clearly painted across his face, "You'd think you'd believe in soulmates considering how much we keep bumping into each other, eh?"or the soulmate au that no one asked for (aka the soulmate au where ben doesnt believe in soulmates but then he does)

Getting a job at the university here in Walford right after graduating had been more about luck and that one professor who believed in him than anything else and he seriously adores his job. He loves his colleagues, the department he works in and - with some very few exceptions - the students.
The only thing he could do without is Ben Mitchell.
