Resentment is the opposite of spiritual energy, it has emotions while spiritual energy is void of them. Resentment remembers those who harm it and those who accept it. Resentment pays back with interest everything it receives. And that is how it all began, perhaps restarted is a better word. A soul filled with resentment is pulled into the Jianghu and used to find others of it kind, those who have wishes unfulfilled, words unsaid and promises unkept. Resentment gives them a chance, an opportunity to live again and find happiness, like the kind they gave the trapped souls years ago.

Summary
Wei Wuxian had a younger sister, one he was separated from years ago.

On empty nights, the elder finds his mind drifting in the memories of someone dressed in white, with long hair tied with a long flutter ribbon with cloud patterns on it. He tries everything to forget him, for he knows that if he thinks of him once again, he will go running back to him. The younger is occupied with trying to figure out what exactly is her relationship with this gorgeous stranger who helped her out one night.
This is the story of a pair of reunited siblings trying to navigate through family, business politics and maybe, if luck allows them, love.

Tighnari’s jaw snaps shut. They both watch in silence as Al-Haitham, ritual worshiper of the daily workplace routine, a transcendently habitual creature set in his ways since the moment he accepted this job offer, reaches thoughtlessly into his desk organizer for a pen and instead comes up with three-quarters of a pastel blue crayon.
Al-Haitham pauses. He looks down at the crayon in his hand; then, at the document he was about to sign. Next, he casts his gaze across the rest of his desk, where it lands on a sheet of scratch-n-sniff stickers in place of his post-its and a heart-shaped hole punch replacing his stapler. His hand visibly twitches.
I will get you, he mouths at Kaveh. Then he puts down the crayon and signs the phrase without breaking eye contact, just to be thorough.
Good luck, moron, Kaveh signs back. Then he blows a kiss.
Al-Haitham and Kaveh have a totally normal and mature workplace prank war of totally normal and mature proportions.

The little boy is beautiful—pale white skin contrasting his dark hair, with big eyes but a small mouth, making his features seem doll-like. Kaveh wonders what’s the story of this child that he had to end up here, in an orphanage.
Or: Kaveh and Al-Haitham decides to adopt a troubled child.
