    Tally screamed as giant centipedes crawled into her clothing, stinging her viciously. Terror like she’d never felt before filled her, mixed with revulsion and horrible pain. She woke, screaming, throwing herself from the infirmary bed and into Raelle’s arms, Abigail next to them, trying to calm Tally down.

    “It’s okay, Tally! It was just a dream! It wasn’t real!” Raelle assured her, but the pain from the centipede bites was still fresh. Tally pulled up her pyjama top, finding swollen bites all over her abdomen.
