seonghwa bites down on his lip. his stomach coils in a knot, and he feels like what he’s going to say might be stupid. maybe he shouldn’t say it. maybe there’s no point in saying it, but he needs to. he nibbles the dead skin off his lower lip as he works up the courage to just speak, to say the words on his mind.
“thanks for being my friend.”
wooyoung’s eyes open the moment the words leave seonghwa’s lips and he wants to take them back. this was a bad idea, he shouldn’t have said anything. wooyoung’s going to laugh at him or tell him they’re not really friends and seonghwa’s going to go back to his dorm crushed and hopeless.
instead, wooyoung pushes himself up on his elbow and he offers him a smile that’s gentler than his usual ones.
“of course, hyung,” he says as he looks at him. “thanks for being mine too. you’re cool, park seonghwa, even if you do like star wars.”

“Some clan houses also have an interview process.” The woman now opening a drawer to the right of her. Reaching for a series of files before she then placed them on the desk. “Meaning they can deny you if they choose to. Which means you’ll have to try and find another clan house to join.”

Seriously?!“I thought you said a bunch of the houses were open to taking in strays?!” Seungmin’s voice shrill. “I thought you said-”
“I said a few were open to taking in strays,” the staff worker then cut in with. “And these ones here…” She then scooted over the pile of files. “Are your best shot at finding a place to live by the end of the day.”

Summary
