Colin’s expression shifted from concern to surprise. “You… Going on a Grand Tour?”
“Yes… me.” Penelope frowned slightly at his tone. While it was true that women almost never went on tours, it wasn’t out of the realm of possibility in this situation. “The Queen thinks that my perspective would be valuable.”
“Oh… yes, of course.” Colin's tone changed as he considered her words. “Of course, with your commentary on English society… imagine your perspectives on other countries. You could travel, see the world, and experience things as you always wished. That’s extraordinary, Pen!” His excitement grew as he went on.
“It is, isn’t it?” Penelope found herself feeling his excitement.
Colin turned away and sat in silence a moment before turning back to her, his voice steady and resolute. “What if I come with you?”

The Queen offers Penelope an opportunity to go on a Grand Tour and in typical Chaos Colin fashion— Colin is determined to come too. They find that this adventure is full of political intrigue, a little espionage, and plenty of sexual tension!

“It was my first kiss.” She blurted out, then quickly dropped her gaze and shook her head at her stupidity. “I am sorry, that was a silly thing to say.”
“Do not apologize, I thought that might be true,” he answered his voice dropping, “you did not deserve that. It was not a good kiss, and I am sorry it was your first.”
“No, it was fine.”
“It should have been at least good Pen.” He sat up a bit, “I was unthinking, and if I had done it correctly, you would not call it fine. I have been told a good kiss is felt in the soul.”
She laughed nervously, “I can say I did not feel that way. It was so fast, I’m not sure I remember much about it at all. You were suddenly holding my face and closer than I’ve ever been to you.” She started to think about it, the way he pulled her in and held her to him. She may not remember all the details due to the brevity, but she remembered how soft he felt and how tender he was despite how firmly he held her.
“Pen,” He whispered, “Would you let me?”
“Let you what?” She bit her lower lip, narrowing her eyes at him.
“Try again? It’s the least I can do, I can’t take back your first kiss, but I can show you what a good kiss can feel like”

Summary
“Were you ever punished as a child?” Penelope giggled while Colin held her close swaying in the church. He looked down at her hand in his, his fingers playfully moving them around so he could press her hand to his heart.
His lips pressed together in a sly smile, lowering his head towards her adorably bright face gleaning up at him.
“I’ll have you know, Miss Featherington, that I was never so naughty I required punishment.” She raised her brows at his statement and wrinkled her nose playfully.
“I do not believe you,” she teased, squeezing his fingers between her own.

There is no way Pen and Colin had one romp on a chaise lounge then nothing till after the Butterfly ball. So I have written some missing scenes that were left to our imagination.
Starting after their first time and ending around where the show concludes, I’ve written some fillers for what could have been without all the side plots. Each chapter is chronological and can be read on its own or in order, as long as you watched part 2 of S3, you can follow this story. I’m not changing what was given to us or the events of S3, only adding some scenes in between. All Polin of course.
