Her gaze feverishly scanned the woman for a detail that was out of place, for a hint that all of this was a misunderstanding, but they came up with nothing. It was her.
The woman in front of Peridot was without a doubt Lapis Lazuli."
The most unfortunate of meetings in the most unlikely of places sends Peridot tumbling deep into a rabbit hole of regrets, anxiety and the hope that maybe, after all those years, there is a way to undo all of the damage that has been done between them.
