A package wrapped in a silver ribbon arrives for the Hero of Hyrule—an Ocarina, to be exact. He has no one he can turn to, except the one person who despises him.
Princess Zelda summons the champions and brings it to the Temple of Time to be buried forever. But something possesses Zelda to play the Ocarina, only for them to find themselves one hundred years in the future, in a Hyrule they do not recognize. They want answers, and the rugged Hylian who claims to be a descendant of the Hero won't give them any.
The more they dig, the more they discover what really happened one hundred years ago...

Summary
The nations are losing mass numbers of Shinobi daily after a plague outbreak targets the chakra in their systems. This is especially problematic for the Akatsuki, because Deidara's friends are all dead and he's getting bored and restless.
It's problematic for Sakura for moral reasons, but whatever.
He has one suggestion: bring back the disease- and poison-specialist, Sasori Akasuna. Alright, maybe he had some character development when she killed him. She'll bite.
Only, Sasori lost his memory of the second half of the battle, and there's nothing he wants more than for her die by his hand, plague be damned.
It's just his luck - she doesn't back down from challenges.

You can read this series in any order; the given order is mostly chronological, although the companion stories occur concurrently both during the Academy year and the five years Byleth sleeps. Each fic gives more context to certain events and fit together like puzzle pieces. Updates are sporadic, but we remain devoted.
