The optics are the window to the spark, he'd heard once. In his friend's case, it had always been very much true - no matter how good he was at pretending to be uninterested, or mad, or whatever, his optics always told the truth. Orion hoped that would be the one thing that would never change no matter what form he took.
What if, in the aftermath of the fight, Optimus doesn't banish Megatron? What if he tries to reconcile instead?

Jury is still out)Orion Pax wakes up in the cave where he first received his T-Cog with one very unhelpful ghost roommate (hi, Prima) in his processor and a crystal-clear memory of the day he died. Stuck in an unforeseen timeloop, armed with some half-baked plans, and the unshakable determination to save his best friend D-16, Orion has a bit of an unwieldy to do list:
1.Convince D-16 not to kill Sentinel Prime (again).
2.Survive the universe's attempts to kill him.
3.Prevent Prima from giving relationship advice mid-battle.
4.Save Cybertron (if there’s time).One out of four isn’t too bad…right?
