They were gone. Both Ganon, who the boy defeated, and the boy himself, who’d fallen into the rift in front of her. Though not before shooting an arrow at the crystal to free her from her prison.
But they were gone.
She needed to get up. The rift could take her too, she knew, and then all of that boy’s efforts would have been for nothing. She needed to get up, to go home, to tell her father and all the others about what had occurred, about the danger she’d faced and perhaps that Hyrule would still be facing-
There was a light - reminiscent of that strange star on that night only a week ago - seemingly falling from the ceiling - and landing atop the cloak the boy had left behind.
Right. Zelda needed to get up.
As she started to run towards the exit, she grabbed the boy’s cloak and shoved it in her dress’s pocket.

“I don’t understand,” he says, and his arms are wrapped around himself now, as if he is cold. They are in Hebra, yes, but he can’t help but feel as if the cold has nothing to do with how he is beginning to shiver.
“What do you mean you don’t understand?” Revali demands, turning back to him, his glare even deeper on his face than before. “I’ve expressed myself clearly to you many times before - it is no fault of mine that you see yourself as better than I simply because of the sword on your back. Surely you cannot blame me for cutting my losses here - I’ve wasted enough time on you as it is.”
“I-I don’t understand,” Link repeats, because for once, he truly doesn’t know how it was that he didn’t please this individual. He thought he understood, before, but Revali has grown more and more upset, and Link simply does not understand what he has done wrong to cause this.
He wants to fix this.
It is the first time in his life he can ever truly remember wanting something.
It is as his vision begins to blur (he doesn't know why) that Revali’s expression shifts.

Summary
Hyrule's predecessor, self-admittedly, was an asshole.
"I say it like I see it," Legend had once said, his voice hoarse as he tried to contain his emotions inside himself. His breathing was slightly uneven, giving away his upset after he'd spit words at Sky with intense vitriol before storming off. He scowled further, his gaze never lifting from the torn grass in front of him.
"I know," Hyrule had agreed, sitting down next to him against the thick tree trunk, leaning his head back on the rough bark. "I know."

Day 6: Whispers (Screams) from Across the Hall (Wind)
Wind finally turned his head, though he didn’t raise it from the cradle of his arms. His ocean blue eyes were glistening through his bangs, as he looked up at Wild.
“How do you do it?” he croaked.
Well. That didn’t give Wild much to work with.
“Do what?” he asked. Wind was still looking at him, waiting for an answer, seeing something that Wild couldn’t - and Wild couldn’t help the guilt that pooled in his gut, not knowing how to help his brother.
“Live with all the ghosts.”

There was a somewhat shaky look on the sailor’s face, like whatever he was about to ask the Chain’s de facto-leader was something he was nervous about. Which meant that either a prank had gone very, very wrong, or Wind was actually concerned about something and needed help.
“I think I like boys,” he blurted out. “Is there something wrong with me?”

Summary
A re-telling of the botw/totk canon, with a large helping of trauma and Revalink and also just so much more lore and story than either of those stories gave us.
