Summary
Neuvillette struggles to adjust to his new found powers as the hydro dragon sovereign. New authority, new sensations and new emotions create new situations that he is woefully under prepared for.
Wriothesley is very much used to pining, and would never expect his feelings to be returned. He"s not sure how he would handle gaining what he has longed for since he became coworkers with the Iudex.
Sigewinne is tired of these two tripping over themselves and schemes to get her dads together.

He was on parole, he could not confront his watcher. With utmost politeness, Luocha paid for the parasol and laid it delicately against his shoulder. Given that the Luofu had already made a prisoner of him, they would not see one more elegant, more courteous, more correct than him.
A breeze blew his long strands of hair back into the sunlight, teasing the sun.
The sun that was the gaze brighter than the day.
It scorched his back when his eyes were averted. Not even the parasol could shield him from it.
In return for medical services rendered during the Ambrosial Arbour crisis, General Jing Yuan lets Luocha out on temporary parole. Luocha uses this chance to continue seeking the secret to immortality and resurrection, but much to his irritation, he finds the general’s devil-may-care behaviour very distracting.

Childe is a bad person, most would say. As a Fatui Harbinger, the label is not a rarity.
But what would happen when he is suddenly stripped of everything that makes him feared? When he is put in a place where he cannot act out of line, where he is just another bland prisoner?
And what does he do about the two newest additions to his list of people he loathes? What does he do, as an ordinary human?
Or, a story where Childe never finds a way to escape the Fortress of Meropide. No one to chat with quite yet, no one to save him, just himself and his enemies. He grows a burning…hatred (?) for an Iudex, all while Wriothesley feels a little…more than unhappy about what justice as a whole means in the nation of Fontaine. All sides will be grieved, and all will lose something in the end. (Aka I wanted to lewd Neuvilette but accidentally made an intriguing plot, so I just went with it.)

Neuvillette hid said smile behind his hand as he coughed embarrassingly.

Wriothesley is known for being organized, calculating and strategic when it comes to being the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide. However, when it comes to his own safety and personal well-being, he is severely lacking, and this doesn’t go unnoticed at all. Many of his colleagues, comrades and even the love of his life are witnesses of this dynamic every day.
Especially that certain hydro dragon lover of his that’s completely smitten and obsessed with him.
Unfortunately, all it takes is one near-fatal encounter for Neuvillette to give into his anxieties and instincts, making a rash decision that will prevent Wriothesley from ever coming close to another dire situation like this again.
A rash decision that may be as fatal with consequences as the one fateful encounter did.
TLDR: Wriothesley gets hurt bad, like bad-bad. Neuvillette is sick and tired of him putting himself in constant danger and adding to the scars that he has, so he does something to ensure that nothing will threaten his life again. He’s also head over heels in love with this man and has no shame in making him blush.
