Summary
After the end of season 5, Wukong realize that he doesn"t have anything left to teach MK and feels... at the same time proud and sad. He looks back on his life and feels more alone than ever now that his student is stretching his wings.
Simultaneously, there is a strange door appearing in his room leading to a bar selling all kinds of love potions. And Wukong thinks that, perhaps, a night of pleasure could help him feel less lonely. Somehow Macaque agree to this madness, and they both drink a potion that helps them forget their fight and heighten their senses, lasting for one night only.
They both didn"t expect to enjoy that night so much. Nor did they expect to come back for more.
And now real feelings are getting involved.

Vi had been laid to rest on an old, tattered red chair tucked against a bean bag so she could stretch out her legs. Above her, there was a colorful canopy illuminated with string lights. Amongst the clutter on the little table sat a ragdoll with a body made out of a music box with woven bright magenta hair.
Vi had an idle thought of the ragdoll being dressed in a vaguely familiar manner, before her eyes landed on her own younger face, painted in watercolor inside a wooden frame.
The recognition took a moment to sink in. “What the fuck?”

Macaque"s head spun. Everything was happening too fast, way too fast. Ever since Wukong"s rise to fame, demons had crawled out of every dark corner, desperate to claim that glory for themselves. Some claimed they would defeat him, hoping to prove themselves worthy in some twisted contest. Until some fancy lion demon came in, talking about a ‘brotherhood’ and defeating heaven together. Yeah, right. Macaque thought the whole thing was a joke—who in their right mind would fall for that?
TLDR : Wukong forced Macaque into the brotherhood (Then had the audacity to get jealous when Macaque’s attention wasn’t solely on him anymore)

Macaque scoffs, and it wobbles. He looks down at the monkey. The black eye is still there. “Didn’t feel like it.” It’s not a lie, technically.
Wukong frowns. “I waited for hours. You could’ve sent a heads up.”

Summary
The very first clue about the things that he has never realized about the king was the faint smell of peaches that are just the perfect amount of ripe. Which should be normal if it’s not also emits a concerning amount of discomfort that should not be there if it"s just normal scent.
Because the common misconception people have about the Monkey King is to immediately think that he is an alpha. Even if the very book of Journey to The West itself did casually state his second gender as a beta. A very fitting for someone that is not particularly interested in most of the love affairs happening within the book. Nor do they ever mention anything about him being keen on scent or giving any symptoms of needing time for … private affairs involving his gender identity.
A beta should not emit scent, they might go for perfume, but that certainly does not explain the emotion attached to the faint smell that emits from Wukong right now.
