Why Don"t People Understand
My Intentions?Basically just a retelling of Re-Animator with a female reader as the third roommate who inevitably falls in love with Herbert West. The Reader, Herbert and Dan attempt to cheat death via Herbert"s reagent with disastrous results, chaos ensues and the body count rises. Of course, further complications arise as Herbert and the Reader"s relationship progresses from friends to something more.
This story uses female-specific pronouns as well as cis-female descriptions of body parts during the sex scenes. If anyone wishes to rewrite those elements of the story in order to fit with their own body and gender identity, that"s totally fine with me as long as you give me a heads up and credit me in the resulting work.

Set after Summer Holiday, and the new sharehouse the four boys are living in is the one showcased in the book Bachelor Boys, which ScumbagAnarchy and I once talked about being different from the two sharehouses featured in the show (proving the idea that the boys survived the bus crash, so take that, fascists!)

Summary

Rick and Vyv try to come to terms with their sexualities and feelings for one another following the Bus Crash at the end of Summer Holiday. But with Vyvyan"s past come back to haunt him, that won"t be an easy task. Meanwhile, Neil"s got a secret he"d rather keep to himself, and Mike the man of mystery certainly has more to him than meets the eye. To top it all off Colin and Vim have moved into the sharehouse with secrets of their own, and Colin"s determined to reconnect his little brother to the rest of their extended family.

But upon meeting a group of people fighting to survive in a new world they don"t fully comprehend, he can start to see the extent of humanities perseverance beyond what he"s read in books. And on common ground with a man as outside the scope of normality as himself, a man who wears woven wings on his back, he can start to let go of decadence, and stop calling it living.

Summary
Cas falls in stages. He likes some of them better than others, these pieces of the life he shares with Dean, where they hunt together and eat together and sleep together and weather the apocalypse together. Of all the things he could choose to do with his newfound free will, this is the thing he wants more than anything. Sometimes, it almost seems like everything is okay, even though the world is ending. Some days, he’s almost happy.
By the time 2014 rolls around, though, Cas is essentially living two lives: one where he’s drunk or high or both, and another where he’s regrettably neither. It’s almost familiar, the way he"s fighting a war on two fronts, but this time one is against the world and the other is just against himself. Doesn’t matter which war you ask about, though. Fact of the matter is, he’s losing.

Logan pinches the bridge of his nose. If only he wasn"t out of whiskey.
"Besides, you love how it makes my calves look.”
Logan glances down to watch said legs as Wade turns to deposit the bags on the counter without thinking.
He pretends he"s wrong.
