“Hu Tao!” Venti exclaims, scrambling inside.
“Oh, hey, Venti!” Hu Tao greets, dropping the broom she’s holding because Venti just gave her a reason to. She grins mischievously, wiggling the fingers of her hands in front of her. “Did someone’s death bring you here~?”
“Fortunately, no,” Venti says, sighing. He adjusts the hat on his head. “I actually came here because of someone’s birth.”
It's Zhongli's birthday, and Venti needs help baking a cake, because results have shown that he does not know how to bake a cake. Thankfully, Hu Tao is here to help(?).

When archons die, they are reborn without any memories. Each archon has chosen retainers that will help raise them to be the kind of god they need to be for their people.
For Morax, he chose the adepti. For Buer, the sages. Yae Miko was chosen to raise Baal, and the Supreme Court Judges for Focalors.
Barbatos did not choose a select few people to raise him when he dies. He decided that his people would know best what kind of god they needed him to be, so they would get to choose how to raise him.
