Yoongi slinks further into his chair and closes his eyes. He feels his breath coming in faster. His throat feels tight and stiff like it can’t pass air through fast enough as it tries to keep down what’s threatening to come up.
“She didn’t,” Yoongi says weakly. “She didn’t agree to marry me off.”
Jin exhales loudly beside him.
“She did,” he says. “She’s made an arrangement for you. With my cousin. Kim Namjoon.”

Yoongi thought after he left the family business behind, his family would give up on trying to arrange a marriage for him. But to seal the merger of the Kim and Jung companies, two marriages are required. One between Hoseok and Jin to tie both families together. And the other to ensure the future of the Kim heir, Namjoon. Somehow, Yoongi finds himself as Namjoon's fiancé
Yoongi would rather pretend the engagement isn't real, even if Namjoon has grown up to be stupidly handsome and kind. Namjoon just wants to be a good husband to Yoongi and prove to him that he isn't a kid anymore.

Summary
“Why are you staring at me?” Yoongi asks.
Namjoon blinks, belatedly realizing he is staring. “I just can’t believe you’re really here.”
“Well I’m not a ghost, Namjoon,” Yoongi says airily.
“Ah, hyung,” Namjoon whines. “Didn’t you miss me?”
There’s quiet for a moment and Namjoon holds his breath.
“Of course I missed you, Namjoon,” Yoongi says finally, his voice quiet. Namjoon’s heart skips a beat. “I missed you every day.”
“Me too,” Namjoon breathes, and it feels good to say it. Feels good to hear it, to know this isn’t all in his head. To know that it’s not one sided, that there’s still… something there. “I’m really happy you’re here, Yoongi hyung.”

After a year apart, Namjoon is finally reunited with his best friend. The road trip is an opportunity for adventure, a last hurrah before he and Yoongi graduate university and everything changes. And, maybe, it’s a chance to see if the feelings and promises from before Namjoon left to study in America are still there.
