"Tomorrow marks a year since the apparent death of beloved vigilante, Mellohi. After being accused of the murder of many citizens and later being proven innocent after his death, the public still demand an answer on the cause of death. The heroes, however, still remain silent to this day which has caused the number of protests to rise.
Could it be that they were at fault for Mellohi’s death, or is the vigilante perhaps still alive?"

Tommy, is just a regular person who lives with his two roommates and works at his aunt's cafe.
Despite the vigilantes and even villain's who come for a drink and the tension between the public and the heroes, Tommy is fine not being involved in the superhero world. However things start to change when a new person enters the shop.
Sometimes not all secrets can be kept hidden.

He clicks on Gotham Wikipedia with bated breath. And it doesn’t take long for Peter to figure out just how bad the situation is. Gotham isn’t just a city, it’s apparently a hellhole. What kind of villain playground is this world running? How could anyone let it get this bad? Where is the government? Where are the heroes?

Well, only if you don't look at his biology ever since the radioactive spider bite. And his extensive track record of running away and deaths in his life. And that his foster-dad is Tony Stark. And that his mentors are the Avengers. And the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of different superheroes that keep stalking him.He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool.
