At 900 hours on 14/08, KaibaCorp Vice President Kaiba Mokuba was notified that the KaibaCorp StarSearcher Satellite had resumed contact with the plane operated by KaibaCorp President Kaiba Seto. Geopositioning identified Kaiba Seto’s approximate location as the KaibaCorp Research and Development Base 12 located at [REDACTED]. Biomonitoring indicated that Kaiba Seto was in severe respiratory and cardiac distress.
At [REDACTED] hours on [REDACTED] Kaiba Mokuba reserved helicopter 31.
At 915 hours on 14/08 Kaiba Mokuba departed Domino, with a trajectory set to [REDACTED]. The flight was completed without incident, and Kaiba Mokuba confirmed successful arrival at [REDACTED] at 1427.
At 1641 hours on 14/08 Kaiba Mokuba issued a request for backup medical assistance.
At 1603 hours on 15/08, contact with Kaiba Mokuba and Kaiba Seto was lost.

“I need to know your address,” Shizuka says.
“Um…like, my parents’ address?” Anzu replies, mystified. “They downsized and moved out to Saitama last year. If you need somewhere to go, I think Jou and Honda’s place would be closer…”
“No it wouldn’t,” Shizuka announces, “Because I’m not in Japan.”
Anzu nearly drops her phone. She plays a six-second game of hot potato, catching it and losing it anew with the tips of her fingers before finally managing to spare it a shattering impact with her apartment’s creaky wooden floor. “Shizuka-chan,” she squeaks, bringing it back up to her ear, “you need to tell me where you are, right now.”
“I’m at the…” Shizuka pauses, and then continues in hesitant but clear English. “John F. Kennedy International Airport.”
“What?!” Anzu screeches. She drops her phone for real this time.
Kawai Shizuka boards a plane to America without telling anyone. Mazaki Anzu's cramped Brooklyn apartment gains another roommate. Jounouchi Katsuya spends all of his booster pack money for the next few months on frantic international phone calls. Missing is the why of it all, but Anzu is nothing if not uniquely talented at getting through anything one step at a time.
