The Nostromo’s crew stood in a circle, nearing that time for departure. Most were familiar, except for that new science officer, so conversation was light and friendly. Cordial with Ash, but such was to be expected with unexpected replacements.
When Ash momentarily walked off, talking about paperwork or whatever else, the group fell into hushed whispers like a bunch of gossiping kids. Parker made a joke about the officer stashing other scientists on board. Kane defended the newcomer cautiously. “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” he rationalized. “He could end up saving our lives if disaster struck.”
Dallas waved the two off dismissively. When Ash looked like he was about to return, Ripley spoke up. “Lambert and I are gonna go check for stowaways. You know, just in case.”

On the day you went to investigate (against the strongly-worded wishes of your family), you hadn’t expected the visitors to have already discovered the regrown flora on the outskirts of Paris. You figured that the city, albeit leveled, was just too big to walk through.

Summary
Vi has always been a survivor and the best thief in Zaun, but her luck is about to run out. Ever since she got her hands on some hextech gloves the Piltover Sheriff has been on her trail and after one of her heists went wrong Caitlyn finally got her hands on her. She has given her a choice of either going to Stillwater for 10 years for the crimes she has committed or 2 years of house arrest helping to catch some of the most dangerous gangs and criminals under the watchful eye of the Sheriff. The answer seems simple, doesn't it? What Vi does not know is that the house arrest is at the Sheriff's own house.

Summary
In a world where everyone lived because Powder listened to Vi, the Lanes are in the midst of a civil war between Vander's Firelights (although it’s mostly his kids running the show nowadays) and Silco. Sevika, Silco’s second, comes to The Last Drop with an offer. Silco is weakening and his control over the Lanes is faltering. Sevika is loyal but she’s not stupid and she wants to be on the winning side. Vi hasn’t seen Sevika up close since she was 15. Something about Sevika suggests she has just what Vi needs and Vi can't wait to have a taste.

They built a life together, making future plans, until Vi's internal fears led her to abruptly leave Piltover, leaving Caitlyn and her family behind.
Now, seven years later, weary of evading her past, Vi returns to Piltover with the intention of settling down for good. However, the city has transformed more than she could fathom. As fate brings her face-to-face with Caitlyn once again, Vi sees it as a chance for redemption. But Vi soon discovers that her once sweet Cupcake is not so sweet anymore.
