A Wallflower's Efflorescence - a sequel to the first story. It revolves on Penelope's married life and centers on the struggles she faces as a wife to the very charming and desirable man in England. It explores the challenges faced by married woman about pregnancy, jealousy and everything that entails about marriage.

This started off as a one-shot snapshot of a fight I imagined between Anthony, Colin, and Penelope. AU set in modern times. In this imagining, Pen and Anthony bonded over broken hearts and Colin found out they've been seeing each other. I decided to turn it in a full story.
I've just had this scene going around in my head so I decided to write it out. Plus I feel like there should be more Penthony stories out there, so here's a bit of one more.
The line I really wanted to work with was "You were everything to me and I was nothing to you."

Penelope in many ways was more than a little broken after her friendship was left in tatters with the two people who meant the most to her, and the state of her family grew more and more dire. Anthony after a failed courtship and the embarrassment caused to his family, was more than a little broken. Maybe underneath the secrets and deception, they can find a place to be broken together. After all, misery loves company.
*This is not a Colin/Pen fic, though I do love them* Events are a little jumbled for story sake. At this point Jack is around still, Edwina and Kate left after Edwina called off the wedding, and Penelope is printing LW with Gen's help.
