    The world is ending.

    Ever since that boat came through, trailing the sickness behind it like an octopus releasing ink. The iridescent slime that looked so pretty when it first arrived. The three of them gazed at it in wonder on the water’s surface, hypnotized by the way its colors shifted faster than a cuttlefish and its silvery metallic appearance. Just like one of the human boats.

    Wil swam through it on a dare. They all laughed as he darted in headfirst.

    That was until he emerged on the other side, heaving and clawing at his gills in pain.

    And that was only the beginning.

    It spread its tendrils further into the water and their home turned into hell.

    Wilbur built an extension on his house three weeks before the witch and his familiar arrives, and Phil tells him it must be because of some prophetic sort of ability. And now they’re here. And he’s responsible for them, or at least he feels responsible. He wants to protect them, since he feels like he can, even though he has no clue about anything involved with other witches and their politics and conflicts. Tubbo and Ranboo. Tommy’s childhood friends, apparently. Tommy’s told him little about them, or Tommy’s current connection to them.

     

    Regardless, it was only going to take once glance from Tommy before he swaddled them in blankets and attempted to heal his familiar.

     
    A continuation from the ending of "Wilbur Soot's Guide to Being Adopted by Familiars". A newly minted witch Wilbur Soot finds himself helping Tubbo and Ranboo, and through that he gains a family and a better understanding of his magic along the way.

    Techno is kidnapped and used by the Hero's Association for their own good. Even with his ability to turn back time, they can't find a way to beat the Angel of Death.
