In which, Rey must find a suitor this season due to the ailing health of her Uncle Lor and an ill-fated promise to him. However, she wants to do so on her terms with a love match. Meanwhile, Benjamin Organa Solo, now Duke of Naboo, is back at his estate. His mother is determined he wed to finally settle down and secure their title, lands, and lineage.
As they both look for their match this season, they continue to find themselves pushed together through fate and circumstance. The only problem? They loathe each other.
A Reylo Regency AU heavily inspired by Austen's works, specifically Pride & Prejudice, as well as Bridgerton.

“Ha!” Poe laughed hard at this, incredulous. “*Less* likely to kill him? Wow, he must have really pissed them off to say something like that. So, what? Are you telling me he wants to join *us* now? That seems unlikely.”
Rey wasn’t sure how to say the rest, so she decided not to overthink it and just spit it out. “He says he wants to train me in my use of the Force.”
*A/N, 5/4/2022: Wrote this story after TLJ, which was by far my favorite of the sequel movies. Thought I’d give this some new life on May the Fourth, so forgive me if you’ve already read this and were looking for something new—it isn’t new. Summary
Since usurping the throne of Alderaan a decade ago, Emperor Snoke has banned the use of magical powers within the kingdom. Only Snoke himself and his elite Imperial Guard are allowed to wield magic for their own cruel, destructive ends.
Rey is an orphan of Snoke's war of conquest and survives as a scavenger in the wastes of Jakku. The threat of death for using illicit magic is no concern of hers - until it is.

Summary
Set in the 14th century, king Ben from Ireland makes England a new ally when the king and queen of England offer king Ben their daughter, Rey's hand in marriage.
The problem is that king Ben is a known heartless, unforgiving king. Rey faces the challenge of proving herself as the future queen of Ireland to the people and most of all, Ben.
(Some chapters are long, some are short)
This does NOT follow my other Star Wars fan fics. This is its own separate thing with Rey & Ben. I did not use any other character from Star Wars besides them nor are any characters based on any other Star Wars characters. It has some themes from "Beauty & The Beast" in it.Also on Wattpad

He threw the sword aside again, instead, stalking closer. Towering over her. She was so small. So delicate. Lean and sinewy muscle. But strong. Yes. She was strong. That much was certain. One large hand clamped over her wrist, dragging her behind him.
“Why ever would I do that, little mouse? Come. You will be my guest.”
Guest. His eyes narrowed as he tugged her forward and she cried out, thrashing against his hold. More like play-thing. The corners of his mouth tilted up in a dark, hungry smile.
“Stop! Let me go! You are a monster!”
He relented for just a moment, turning to stare into those sweet hazel eyes. Kylo’s mouth watered as he growled, “Yes, I am.”
