Summary
“It was worth it, in the end.”
That’s a commonly held belief among the graduates of Dorley Hall, when thinking back on their experiences. But not everyone’s journey was so kind. The programme isn’t perfect, after all, and the trauma inflicted can carry through the rest of the graduates’ lives.
One girl’s journey through the Dorley programme was rough. Events in her first year had convinced her that she was just the barest breath away from washing out, and she carried that feeling through the rest of her time in the programme.
But those scars don't fade easily, and despite graduating as a model Dorley girl she eventually finds the weight of the programme's expectations to be too much to bear.
