They are in their past bodies, and it's before Jay can time-travel. They meet others who were dragged through their own worlds because of Clouse and Chen, and form their own alliance.

Nezha gets two younger siblings when he accepts Wukong's offer. He also is protective of his sister when she gets a fiery boyfriend...Nezha getting adopted was inspired by "You Got Adopted By Who?" But the rest of it, with the family bonding ( Red Son) was my idea.

Summary
Sun Wukong made a terrible mistake, and Macaque blames him for it. As Sun Wukong watches over him in disguise, Macaque tries his best to locate his nephew (who he considers his own son). As the brothers drift apart over the years, Wukong finds a plot to lift his staff starting the Pilot Episode for LMK. Unfortunately, Macaque finds out about Wukong's new student and suspicion takes root.
