Tommy didn't blame them. He would hate being forced to change his own biology and join some stupid family. It would be even worse to be turned by direct family. There was no escape from the coven at that point. Your instincts are completed bound to a guy you've never met before.
It was all so stupid. All this vampire shit, plus a shitty government that didn't do shit equaled a shitty life in Manburg. What could he do but go back to the monotonous work of his coffee shop job.
Which he did. Man, fuck Mondays.

Tommy rose from the wooden floor, following Will out the door. Techno dropped down from wherever the fuck that man was beside him.
The now trio ascended the stairs to where Phil stood proudly by the helm, staring out. Tommy saw it now, a little speck of sand in the distance. The treasure hunt destination. Of awesomeness.

Luckily, (not luckily), his questions were answered as he was finally dropped off in a room without much furniture. Just a chair and camera. Wilbur could tell where this was going.
He let out a few muffled curses as he was tied down to the chair and one man shuffled behind the dull red dot, saying the first words that had been spoken to him.
“Smile for the camera.” He most certainly didn’t want to, and he also couldn’t but whatever. “And try not to look so happy to be here.”
