Summary
The hall suddenly quiets down at the sound of several footsteps coming closer at a steady pace. Lan Wangji watches the entrance, and tries to ignore the tremble of his heart when his eyes see Wei Ying walking into the hall. Whatever excitement he feels, however, is quickly squashed as he takes in the expression of absolute fury on his beloved’s face. Wei Ying is carrying a quiet, but obviously upset, a-Yuan on his hip, and Wen Ning is following closely behind. A few steps behind, Jin Zixuan is grim-faced and pushing a furious Jin Zixun in front of him. Lan Wangji is sure his minor headache will turn major before whatever spectacle is about to happen is over.
Or, how bringing a-Yuan to Jin Ling's one month celebration leads to things getting revealed, and a whole bunch of lives being saved. (And Wei Ying gets the time to realize going to Gusu might be good, actually)

Something that Luo Binghe has never told a soul was that his red string of fate was connected to his Shizun. Now, having read about his Shizun's past he understands why Shen Qingqiu treated him the way he did. To have a red string broken is the worst feeling in the world. So when his Shizun was Shen Jiu and Yue Qingyuan had subconsciously broken their bond, his Shizun had the full backlash of the broken bond.
Luo Binghe can't help but comment and ask the author why Shen Qingqiu never realized that he had a second red string. His heart nearly breaks at the reply.
Shen Qingqiu thought he was hallucinating, he believed that any other soulmate would abandon him as well.

Shen Qingqiu meets Luo Binghe head on after his return and offers up Ning Yingying as a bride. He should have stayed away as they got reacquainted, perhaps then Luo Binghe's eyes wouldn't have strayed.
