Summary
Wise had endured his fair share of moaning, miserable patients over the years. Belle had been one of them when they were younger—and, to be honest, she still was. So when Lighter Lorenz started up with the same whiny routine, it wasn’t exactly a shock, a grown man wrapped in a blanket of complaints.

Summary
Both of them look up when they hear the door to the building the girl had come from just a few minutes before open once more and a confused man with short hair wearing a bathrobe over his pajamas with slippers barely on his feet runs out looking around frantically.
“Mid?” He gives a slight holler as his eyes roam the sidewalk and parking lot, barely skimming over Clive.
He realizes the man can’t see the girl from where he’s crouched in front of Torgal so he stands and lifts a hand. “I think she’s over here!”
The man’s eyes land on them once more and widen before he rushes toward them, nearly losing a slipper in the snow.
AKA: Clive and Cid meet and eventually get together thanks to Mid being obsessed with Torgal, the best boy. A soft and sweet Christmas story.

Summary
…Wise doubted the stationary tuft of fur would offer Inky the playtime he was seeking.
Maybe it had been left there by another stray cat Inky was familiar with. His only other theory was for the hair to be Howl’s, but Inky had only ever relaxed around the dog, not willing to play games even if Howl insisted with too many licks and nudges to count.
“Come on, let’s go home, Inky. No use staying here.”
The cat didn’t even pretend to listen. Wise sighed.
“Would it help if I brought along the fur?”
And that did the trick; Inky was now staring at him.
Or, what if instead of being Phaethon, legendary proxies, Wise and Belle were just... regular-ish people? And what if the stray cat they adopted found a very interesting tuft of fur on 6th street and just had to have it for himself?
Or or, I saw a youtube comment say something about there being "no built-in romance" in the lycaon trust events and I woke up 3 hours later with the first chapter written down jrthgfgr

Summary
Everyone knew that Lighter had a crush on Wise. Even if Lighter never said it out loud, it was impossible to miss.
Everyone could see it. Everyone but Wise.
What if Wise actually did know? What if he’d known for a while and just didn’t feel the same? Maybe that was why he’d been so distant lately, giving Lighter those cold, scrutinizing looks—like Lighter had failed some kind of test he hadn’t even known he was taking. The uncertainty gnawed at him. It felt impossible to ignore, especially now, when every interaction with Wise felt like it was coated in a tension that felt as though it could ignite at the smallest spark.

Summary
Lighter wasn’t someone who one hundred percent believed in fate. He felt like everything in a man’s life happened because of their own action and effort, not because of some unknown entity who made it happen for them. But maybe he’s wrong. Maybe it’s just as Caesar's shoujo manga said, that fate between two people does exist. I mean, what was all this if not fate?
