This is my first attempt at a fic, and writing in general, for a few years so please go easy one me!
Set after an alternate bad ending where Basil was saved before his plan could be finished. Though still with nothing resolved and more than a few things left awry. Or really, left in shambles. Hero is lost as to what to do in life. Kel lost his spark some time ago but continues to put on a show. Aubrey is desperate to not lose who she still has. Nobody's seen Sunny in years. And poor Basil has completely lost his mind, luckily his friends refuse to give up on him.

after the death of MARI, SUNNY shuts himself away. 8 months later he catches a glimpse of his reflection in the mirror of the moonlit bathroom, his hair had grown considerably and for a brief moment. he sees MARI stare back at him
this is just really a justification on why i accidentally wrote MARY as a gang leader mafioso when trying to explain why she has a gun in some depictions. i will clarify whats the gang route when i get to that but i need to get past Year 1 to get the gun. in year 2

Summary
It was a perfectly ordinary Thursday in Faraway Town, as far as Kim was concerned. She planned to have a sleepover with Aubrey that night, so that would be something fun to do. Her brother would probably want to go steal some more candy from Othermart too, so she could do that later. But for now, All she wanted to do was sit in the park and enjoy the sunshine.
I never really get the chance to do this , she thought to herself, just take a moment to relax. It was hard work being the second in command of The Hooligans. Especially keeping Angel and The Maverick under control.
She sighed to herself contentedly, wondering how long this moment of relative quiet would last.
Not long enough, clearly, as she was startled out of her thoughts as a young girl, probably 12 or so judging by how tall she was, ran past Kim while crying.
Now, on some days, Kim may have just let the girl pass and gone back to her daydreaming; on others, she may have gone to seek out one of her friends to actually do something.
Today, however, she got a very, very bad feeling.
