Josuke and Okuyasu are just completely normal, regular teenagers. Sure, they have bizarre supernatural powers and were heavily involved in the death of a prominent local serial killer, but I mean, when it comes down to it, all they really wanna do is hang out and play video games. "Gyro!" Johnny whisper-shrieks, and then he says, stupidly, "Why in the hell would a bear speak English?"
"Ah! You're right," Gyro says, and Johnny almost relaxes, until he shouts, "Ué! Ll'urzo! Aje nu Stand?"
"I'm going to kill you if the bear doesn't beat me to it," Johnny informs him, strained.
"I don't think he speaks napulitano," Gyro tells him. "Should I try Italian next?"
"No," Johnny hisses. "You should try shutting your God damn pie hole."

Summary
Pucci has walked through the garden gate a million times, and each time, he finds himself where he started. Kars has tried a hundred thousand plans, so many that Pucci has lost track of them and what each was meant to accomplish. Each plan fails, and each time, Kars continues forward.
In a sense, it's a way to pass the time in this place. But it's more than that, Pucci helps Kars with his experiments because he truly believes that if anyone can find a way to escape, it will be Kars.
