Summary
As I have long threatened(?), this will hold a few extra bits I wrote when I was playing with the original concept of Strategic Realignment that didn't fit into the shape of what it needed to be.
These are all pretty absurd (which is why I'm making them separate-- after all, the main story is quite serious! (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧ ), and quite short, but they still make me chuckle and someone said something to me recently that slightly reframed my feeling on things that are "too short".
Oh, and in case it's somehow not obvious, this WILL totally spoil Strategic Realignment, so if you somehow got here before reading that, I recommend going back to experience it for yourself-- I'm actually rather proud of it.

'Representing destruction, upheaval, chaos, ambitions and goals made on false premises.'It wasn't Taylor's fault the outside world terrified her. It wasn't her fault she spent 7 years locked in her home, horrified at the thought of going outside. That was fine. She could live with that. She could do more than just live. She could be a hero. She could help people. She could save people... all without ever leaving her room. Even as her body fell apart, even as her mental health declined more and more. She could help people.
And at the end of it all, she could find love. She could find someone who would help take care of her when she couldn't take care of herself. She could find a place where she was finally safe.
It only made sense.
Every Dragon needed a Princess. And every Princess needed a Tower.
(Inspired by the absolutely rancid snip by CowEnthusiast, 'Hatsune Dragon'. It infests my brain, and I must fumigate the property by writing a happier version.)

To Penny, trapped by a virus inside her own mind, watching a doll with her face hold her friends so dear and close, one such phenomenon occurs. A tiny accident, in the universe's scope, that allows just one person, most definitely real, to slip between worlds. Such a tiny accident, though, means everything to her.
