“I told you to eat,” Harry said coldly, his voice commanding. “Or I’ll force it down his throat.” He paused, then feigned surprise. “But wait… wouldn’t that be a waste? How will he ever know what his own tongue tastes like?”
“You motherfu…” Draco couldn’t finish his sentence as the bile reached his throat.

'I think it’s time we talked', green eyes bore into cold grey ones. A shiver ran down Draco’s spine.
'Please sit.' Draco drained all his energy in staying emotionless. His final defence was to feel less, to hurt less, 'What is it that you would like to discuss?'
'I think it’s time we stop all of this' Harry’s fingers ran through his dark waves, 'I’m tired, I can’t love you anymore. I’m sorry.'
'You can’t or you don’t?'
'What?' Dark eyebrows furrowed together as Harry’s mouth grimaced.
'Well which is it? Can you not love me anymore? Or do you not love me anymore?' Draco needed to hear him say it. Draco needed him to mean it.

Summary
Draco Malfoy fled for many reasons. One, he didn't want the dark mark (he wasn't too into tattoos. Wasn't his aesthetic). Two, he wasn't too fond of torturing and murdering people (now, sassing people and hurting them with harsh words— that was his forte). Three, the Dark Lord was a creep (he's way too pervy! Plus, he's old and looks like a lizard. Gross).
Fourth, and the most important reason, Draco Malfoy fled because he wanted to get his one-year-old sister as far away from the Dark Lord and his Death Eaters as possible.
