To Izuku, this was the greatest moment in her life. Not only had her hero, her idol, recognized her potential and told her that she could be a hero, not only had he picked her as his successor, he had accepted her even when she came out to him!
To All Might, this was, quite possibly, the most embarrassing day in his life. How in the world had he mistaken the girl he had chosen for his successor for a boy for so long?! No wonder she was insecure about her lack of femininity, there were idiots like him walking around!

Summary
The girl wasn't afraid but she had not been given permission to speak so she said nothing. The man tilted his head to the side, smile fading to a confused pout.
"Aren't you going to scream?" he asked.
The girl said and did nothing.
His hand tightened around her throat, strong enough it cut off her breath. She did nothing, even when her vision began to blacken as her lungs struggled and twisted from the lack of air. After a moment his hand relaxed and she took a breath, but made no attempt to push away from him or fight his grip.
"That's strange," the man said, "Are you really not afraid?"
She blinked but did not respond. His hand loosened around her throat until he was pressing his bloody index finger against her neck, sensing her pulse. It was as steady and calm as it had ever been since that day she became empty and hollow.
"Well, aren't you interesting. I think I'll keep you," the man decided.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya was dead, and it turns out he did have a quirk that keeps him in this world as a ghost. Many things had happened since his death. The emergence of a new vigilante in Musutafu. Encounters with Eraser and his attempts to adopt a stray. Having a real friendship with a purple-haired outcast from society. Adopting a drug dealer and turning him into a minimally decent person who didn't want to burn the world. Causing aneurysms for Detective Tsukauchi and giving nightmares and traumas to a great number of people.
The truth was, many things had changed since Izuku had died. Now that his abandoned corpse had been discovered on Dagobah Beach, Izuku had been forced to disappear at the hands of his self-proclaimed adoptive brother, Dabi.
What Izuku was not aware of is that neither Aizawa nor Tsukauchi would give up on the kid. No, now that they had the slightest clue about what the hell was happening with Izuku Midoriya, they weren't going to let it slide. They would get to the bottom of the matter and bring their problem child back home with them.
