“What are you doing?” Link’s voice is strained, rushed.
Zelda lowers the knife. “You could’ve been anyone – How was I supposed to know it was you?”
His eyebrows crease. “I was calling you. But – but that’s not what I’m talking about. What are you doing up here, all alone? It’s the middle of the night!” This is the first time Link has raised his voice at her, or shown any real emotion, in the last few months. A small part of her relishes the fact that he’s finally finally dropping the curtain, even if it is because he’s obviously infuriated with her.
Zelda knows she shouldn’t push it, but she can’t help herself, barking out a single, sarcastic laugh. “Ha! You barely even acknowledge me; don’t pretend you’re actually concerned for me.”
Link’s lips thin, but he doesn’t say anything, instead choosing to look away like he usually does.
“Hmm. I suspected at much.”

Link has been acting strange since the fall of the Demon King. There's an uneasy, tense feeling between them, and Zelda is determined to get to the bottom of it.Does it have anything to do with the fact that Link kissed her after she returned to being a Hylian?
