Touya clutches at the phone in his hands like the lifeline it is. If Touya played his cards right, this could be their chance to escape. No more hurt and pain and tears and fear. If Touya did this right they could be safe.
This was do or die.
It rings once. Then twice. Then a click.
“Hellooo, listener! You’re on air! What’s on your mind tonight?”
Or, Touya wants nothing more than to get him and his siblings out of their house and away from their father. To do this, he makes a last-ditch attempt and calls into Present Mic's radio station.

“Listen Midoriya, I am going to be honest. You can’t be a hero without a quirk. Maybe if this was some happy go lucky story you could get a quirk and become at least a moderate hero. But with how late you get that quirk it would be difficult. Everyone that has a quirk would have about 10 years knowing how to weld it, you would just harm yourself and get in the way. You offer no power, nothing. If you really wanted to be a hero why not join the law enforcement or the medical field. They are respected fields. Give up on this childish dream of your Midoriya. Perhaps in another life, you will receive a quirk.”
After being told by his role model that he can't do anything his luck and look out on life changes. This is thanks to the League of Villains who see the talent that Izuku has and decides to show him that he can do what he wishes to do.
