Summary
Five had always understood, in an abstract sort of way, why she might be attractive to someone else. Pretty like something poisonous; compelling like the urge to put your hand through a naked flame to test whether it’s as hot as you think it might be. But she’d been a thorn in his side more than anything, irritating one another through mere proximity, and at no point had he contemplated anything ever happening between them. Neither the desire nor the opportunity had ever presented themselves in earnest.
That was then, though, and this is now: the heart wants what it wants, as the saying goes, and Five wants with a whole lot more of him than that.

perfectly in character & the tone matches the show flawlessly. This ship took me by surprise but then again I’m a sucker for banter and these two have it in spades.

Summary
This remarkable letter of unknown provenance surfaced recently in the cuneiform collection of the University of West Wessex. Addressed to Azirapil from a Mr. “Crawly,” it appears to be begging for the other’s return to Ur from a western journey with another individual, Abiraham. The relationship between the two (brothers? business partners? friends?) is unknown.

Summary
The universe always seemed to get a little clumsy with time whenever they kissed. There was nothing in the whole world it seemed, save the sound of their lips moving together, their quick breaths, the golden glow of the afternoon sun as it flooded in through the window.

Achingly sweet and realistic first time for these two. Some lovely imagery sprinkled throughout that really captures the gentleness and warmth of the comics/show.

Bookmarker's Notes
As the author said, it’s “the scene that launched a thousand fanfics.” Well-executed with a particularly “finished” feeling. You can hardly find a fic under 10,000 words that has any decent amount of post-smut plot, but here one is.
