Summary
Charlie knew his day was going to be shit when he found himself at 7:45 in the morning, fighting for his life, buck naked trying to get his bloody fire alarm to stop blaring.
His stupid flatmate, Jerry, had set off the alarm yet again while trying to cook bacon. Charlie had been in the shower when it had started going off and since Jerry showed himself to be completely useless during the previous times, Charlie knew it was up to him. He slipped, falling out of the tub, his ass landing hard on the loo floor, before he scrambled to his feet, towel around his waist and ran out into the kitchen.
As he was waving a kitchen towel at the alarm, his own towel slipped from his waist, exposing himself to Jerry, who at least had the courtesy to slam his eyes shut. It took far too long to clear the smoke out from the room and by the time he’d finished, he was already late.
“Sorry, Charlie,” Jerry offered, about to turn the stove back on, and Charlie had to pull him away with an exasperated sigh.
